“And so I am sure confident that God, who began this good work in you, will carry it on until it is finished on the Day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6
This course is open to all interested in learning more about the Catholic faith. It will prepare for formally entering the Catholic Church for those prayerfully considering becoming Catholic.
Join Father Matthew Quail and Cathy Wideman, Director of Catechesis and Evangelization, from September through April on Wednesday evenings from 6 - 7:15 pm at our SJA - Shakopee Area Catholic School (SACS) Campus. The class will be held during our youth Faith Formation classes so if you have a child in the program you can attend an adult formation class while your child is in their classes.
Classes begin on September 28. Watch for our 2022 - 2023 schedule.
Each week will feature a different topic. Come for one class, come for all, or come to the topics that interest you!
We ask for a donation of $50 to cover the cost of materials for the Catholicism 101 / RCIA course.
We welcome your participation in the class regardless of your ability to pay.

‘Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?’
And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said,
‘Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children,
you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.’” Matthew 18:1-3
