“Adoration is essentially an embrace with Jesus in which I say to him: ‘I am yours, and I ask you, please stay with me always'.” - Pope Benedict XVI

Security System:
For the safety of our adorers and the Blessed Sacrament, we have installed a security system at the SJA - St. Mary Adoration Chapel. You will need a code to enter the chapel and adore the Blessed Sacrament, even if you only drop in for a short period. The code is available in our weekly bulletin at the end of Father's letter. It is four numbers followed by the pound sign (#). If you have any further questions you may get in touch with the adoration coordinators.

"Every Holy Hour we make so pleases the Heart of Jesus that it will be recorded in Heaven and retold for all eternity.” - St. Teresa of Kolkata
There are many great reasons to spend time in Adoration with our Lord, but the most important is to deepen your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The most important connection we make is the one we make with the Lord. Outside of Mass, there is no substitute for sitting quietly in the Lord’s presence and allowing Him to fill us with His love. Whether you are feeling lost and need guidance, or are just looking for a quiet place set apart to pray, come and spend some time with the Creator of the universe. Jesus wants to give you His peace through spending time with Him. Just as you can’t be exposed to the sun without receiving its rays, neither can you come into the Light and Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament without receiving the divine rays of His grace, His love, and His peace.
“Of all devotions, that of adoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the greatest after the sacraments, the one dearest to God and the one most helpful to us.” - St. Alphonsus Liguori
We have moved back to our SJA - St. Mary Chapel
Make your reservation for a weekly one-on-one with Jesus. It is sure to be the best hour of your week!
We invite you to sign up to adore Jesus Christ, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament, for one hour or more.
On July 5, Eucharistic Adoration moved from our St. Mark Church back to our St. Mary Church in the side Chapel. A new keypad lock was installed on the door. Please see our schedule for the current available times. Our hope is to get back to Perpetual (24 hours a day) Adoration which is dependent upon the number of committed adorers who respond to this invitation. We will add more times as more people come forward to participate in this ministry.
Please prayerfully consider this work of mercy in the form of a dedicated hour of Adoration. Do it for Jesus, who longs to shower you with His love and grace, for growth in your personal spiritual journey, and also for your fellow parishioners. Our willingness to commit to an hour makes it possible for others to spend time with Jesus throughout the week. Paper sign-up forms are available in the back of the church and at the office, or online sign-ups are available above.

The Catholic Faith believes that Our Lord remains truly present in the hosts consecrated at Mass. We reserve the Blessed Sacrament in the Tabernacle after Mass, so that Communion may be brought to the sick and the dying. Early in the life of the Church, the faithful began to adore the Blessed Sacrament reserved within churches, recognizing that adoration of the Blessed Sacrament extends the Mass beyond the dismissal of the faithful.
Adoration of Our Lord present in the Blessed Sacrament is one of the best ways to grow in our relationship with Him and to grow in holiness–as all Catholics are called to do. The saints recommend adoring our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament to help Catholics to grow in their spiritual life. Saint Alphonsus Ligouri wrote, “Of all devotions, that of adoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the greatest after the sacraments, the one dearest to God and the one most helpful to us.”
Spending time in adoration answers the question that Jesus asked Peter and that he continues to ask all of us: “Could you not watch with me for one hour?” (Matthew 26:40; Mark 14:37) Please pray about when our Lord is calling you to spend an hour with him, as we move toward returning to Perpetual Adoration.
