EFC Registration for Middle Schoolers closed on March 31
This is a week-long summer camp for middle schoolers entering 7th through 9th grade (Fall 2025). Join other Catholic youth from around the Archdiocese for a week of high adventure fun: water obstacles, adoration, kayaks, parish time, color wars, extreme faith, archery, laser tag, talks, rock wall, swimming, and so much more!
Extreme Faith Camp (EFC)
Extreme Faith Camp (EFC) is a five-day summer camp, started within the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis more than 20 years ago. For years our parish joined EFC, and we have watched our youth fall in love with Christ!
We are excited to return to Trinity Woods Camp in 2025! This is a beautiful location for a fun and faith-filled week!
This summer the Parish of Saints Joachim & Anne will again be bringing students in current grades 6th-8th to this amazing overnight camp! We have secured many spots for the camp, but space is limited. Registrations are accepted until full.
More information can be found in the tabs below.
We are here to answer any questions or concerns. We are committed to the safety and faith development of your child. We want to partner with you in caring for them and ensuring that your concerns are answered. Don’t hesitate to ask us if you have questions!
This camp makes committed disciples of our young people. Ask your children if they have friends they could invite to join the fun!
Extreme Faith Camp is a week filled with fun, friends, and faith, helping your child build relationships with other youth and with God. They will experience the life-giving teachings of the Catholic Church in a beautiful, Northwood setting. Allow your children to come apart with Jesus so that He can build a firm foundation of faith!
Every camper is assigned to a small group of boys or girls for the week, from lodging and activities to prayer and discussion time. They will build deep friendships with other youth and with God!
Here are some of the things your child will experience at EFC!
Campers engage in high-adventure activities, providing opportunities to encounter God by testing their limits, all surrounded by God’s natural beauty, helping to break down “walls,” and building trust among other youth and their counselors.
And of course...programs to grow in Faith!
Mass, Adoration, Confession, comedies, dramas, small group sharing, testimonies, inspiring talks, and praise and worship!

DIRECTIONS:
Hey, parents!
Do your high school kids want to go to summer camp?
Do YOU want to go to summer camp?
We are looking for high school and adult volunteers to join us for a fun week working with middle school students! Adults and high school students may be on the prayer team, be small group leaders, or help with many other tasks while enjoying the beautiful Trinity Woods camp and retreat center.
9th grade Prayer Team:
Students are invited to serve as members of the Prayer Team, spending the week interceding for the campers, and serving in various behind-the-scenes roles, while deepening their own interior life with the Lord. This prepares these 9th-grade students to serve not only as Extreme Team leaders in the following years but also as leaders in their parish.
10th - 12th grade Extreme Team (ET):
High school students serve as small group leaders for a group of middle school campers. ET will disciple and guide the campers through camp activities and prayer. This is an opportunity for high school students to engage in the church’s mission of discipleship and is extremely impactful on the future faith life of the high schoolers and campers they serve.
