Winterfest is our parish's way of celebrating the German tradition of Fasching. In Germany, the Fasching festivities lead up to Ash Wednesday. It is a time when people rejoice at the end of winter, and is celebrated with good food, drinks, and festivities before entering the solemn Lenten Season. It is a time all about having fun!
For our parish, Winterfest is a way to come together during these cold winter days to enjoy some delicious German food and drink, as well as traditional German polka band entertainment and dancing. It is an opportunity to meet other parishioners and just have some good old-fashioned fun! So invite your family, friends, and neighbors, and get your reservation in to celebrate at Winterfest! Come and join the fun!
